Where does Forex Broker Rebates get the money to pay me the rebates?

As a referring broker for FXCM, Forex.com and CMS Forex, Forex Broker Rebates receives a small commission from the forex broker for each trade that you make. This commission is taken from the spread between the bid price and the ask price of the particular currency pair that you are trading.   In relation to your trading, you will receive exactly the same spreads, execution, and other levels of service from your forex broker than you would as if you didn’t use ForexBrokerRebates.com as your referring broker. The only difference is that you get a monthly cash payment from us.

So what’s the catch?

There isn’t one.  When you  sign up with ForexBrokerRebates.com, we receive a small commission from the forex broker for each trade you make, and we pass on a proportion of that commission (around half) back to you.

I already have an account with one of the participating forex brokers – can I still claim my rebates?

Yes, absolutely. If you have an account with FXCM or Forex.com/GAIN Capital, firstly open a new account as instructed in the account opening section of our website.  Secondly, you will need to complete the relevant transfer form, which you can download from the relevant forex broker's sign-up page on this site.  Send this form to the forex broker, and of course, don’t forget to register with us afterwards, in order to get paid.  If you have an account with CMS Forex, please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   for further details.

Why do I need to open an account through Forex Broker Rebates to receive my rebates?

In fact open your account directly with the forex broker of your choice, not with Forex Broker Rebates.  In the account opening section of the Forex Brokers Rebates website, we just provide you with a special link to click on, which contains the details of Forex Broker Rebates, and which are recognized by the relevant forex broker.  This ensures that we are paid our commission, and thus enables us to pay you your rebates.  It's that simple.  For accounts with FXCM, however, you must still put ‘ForexBrokerRebates.com’ as your 'Referral Agent' on the account opening form.

How do you select the forex brokers you work with?

Forex Broker Rebates have teamed up with some of the biggest names in the foreign exchange business.  We conduct an extensive serach for suitable forex brokers and each broker has had to satisfy our strict eligibility criteria.  Each of our participating forex brokers must:

• Be NFA registered;
• Offer mini accounts in addition to standard accounts, and
• Offer competitive pricing/spreads.

FXCM, Forex.com and CMS Forex all meet these criteria, and Forex Broker Rebates are pleased to be able to offer forex traders the opportunity to claim rebates through us, whilst at the same time trading with leading forex brokers.

I would like to open a mini-account – do I still qualify for rebates?

Absolutely.  Your rebates will be proportional to the size of your trades, eg for each $10,000 round turn mini lot that you trade, your rebate will be $0.40.

What are the other benefits of registering with Forex Broker Rebates?

Forex Broker Rebates is run by experienced foreign exchange traders.  Over the course of the years, we have faced, and successfully resolved, numerous issues with our forex brokers.  In addition, we are more than happy to assist you with any questions you have regarding your forex trading.  Since we are working for you, and not the forex broker, we are always on hand to help you with any questions or problems you may encounter.  Your emails are always answered promptly, although if you prefer to call us, just drop us a line with your telephone number and let us know when would be a convenient time to call you.  It is our aim to offer you the best level of cashback, and most comprehensive customer service to our clients.

Does it matter which currency pairs I trade?

No, you will receive up to a $4 rebate for every round turn lot, irrespective of the currency pair you trade.

Will you have access to my account?

No, we will not be able to trade on your account, or deposit or withdraw funds from your account.  You are the only person who has access to your funds, and who can make trades.  Forex Broker Rebates will, however, receive reports from your broker detailing your trading activity, in order to determine how much rebate you have earned that month.

How exactly will I receive my rebates?

If you choose to receive payment through PayPal, then payment will be made directly to the PayPal account associated with the email account you provided, unless you inform us otherwise.  If you choose to receive payment to your bank account by wire transfer, then we will contact you for your bank account details, and payment will be made directly to your account.

When do I get paid?

All payments are made on the last business day after the end of a calendar month. So, for example, in relation to the trades you made in September, the rebate will be paid on the last business day in October.

How do I know that you will pay me?

We have developed very close working relationships with our participating forex brokers.  If there was any problem with us making the rebate payments, the forex brokers would terminate our referring broker status.  We would not risk ruining our reputation and our business by refusing to make the rebate payments to our clients in a timely manner.  The success of our business relies on our honesty and integrity.

I am a very active trader, and trade over 500 lots each month. Do I get a special rate?

If you trade over 500 lots per month, please contact us for further details of our Active Trader rebate rates.
